Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of security to your Cardinal account. Verifying your identity using a second factor (like an authentication app or your phone) helps prevent anyone but you from logging into your account, even if they know your password.
Duo is the two-factor authentication system used by the University for its systems, including VPN and Cardinal Financials.
Duo's self-enrollment process makes it easy to register your phone and activate the Duo Mobile application so you can receive Duo requests via push notification and simply tap to approve and log on.
