License Types & Eligibility

Enrollment is automatic for those with active Cardinal Credentials via Google authentication.

• Professional License: Assigned to Faculty, Staff, Associates, and Visiting Scholars.

  • Up to 300 participants.

  • Meetings up to 24 hours in duration.

  • Includes cloud recording (subject to purge policy).

• Basic License: Assigned to Students and Alumni.

  • Up to 100 participants.

  • 40-minute limit on meetings with more than 3 participants.

Important Recording Policies

Zoom Cloud recordings are not permanent and are purged on a 180-day cycle:

• Mid-July Purge: Deletes recordings from before December 31 of the previous year.

• Mid-January Purge: Deletes recordings from before June 30 of the prior year.

• Action Required: Users should download Zoom Cloud recordings they wish to keep before these dates.
