Conference calling on my T46U

To Set Up a Three-Party Conference:

  1. Initiate the First Call: Place a call to your first participant.

  2. Invite the Second Participant: While the first call is active, press the Conference soft key. This will automatically place the first party on hold.

  3. Dial the Number: Enter the extension or the full phone number of the second party, then press the Send soft key.

  4. Join the Calls: Once the second party answers and is ready to join, press the Conference soft key again. All three parties are now connected in the same conversation.

Managing Your Conference

  • Mute: Press the MUTE key (microphone icon) to silence your own microphone. The LED indicator will glow green when you are muted.

  • Hold: Press the HOLD key to place the entire conference on hold.

  • Splitting the Call: If you need to speak to the participants privately again, you can use the Split soft key to separate the conference into two individual held calls.

  • Ending the Call: Press the End Call soft key or hang up the handset to disconnect all parties.

[!IMPORTANT] Need to add more people? The T46U hardware supports a maximum of three participants locally. If you need to host four or more parties, please use the Zoom meeting platform on your computer or mobile device.
