What is Cardinal Voice / Zoom Phone?
-
It’s the official phone system for faculty & staff at Catholic University.
-
Instead of a regular desk phone, your phone number works through Zoom — on your computer, phone, or in some cases a physical desk phone.
Getting Started with Cardinal Voice
Faculty and staff who are assigned a university phone number have access to the Cardinal Voice service. Once your number is assigned, it is automatically linked to your Zoom account, allowing you to make and receive calls through the application.
- Access on your Computer: Make and receive calls directly from the Zoom desktop application. If you don't have it, you can download it here. Simply sign in with your Catholic University credentials.
- Access on your Mobile Device: Download the Zoom mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to take your university number on the go.
- Key Features: Enjoy modern features like voicemail transcription sent directly to your email, the ability to flip a call from your computer to your mobile device, call recording, and integrated presence status with your Google Calendar.
