How do I use the classroom document scanner in my Zoom session?

🔌 Getting Started

  1. Power On the Camera

    • Plug in the power cable and connect the USB to your classroom PC

    • Press the Power button on the base of the camera until the light turns on

  2. Open the Viewing Software

    • Use QOMO’s QCamera software (already installed on most podium PCs)

    • Alternatively, use Zoom or other apps that allow video input selection

  3. Select Camera Source

    • In your app (Zoom, QCamera, etc.), choose “QOMO QPC22” or similar from the camera options

Auto Focus Sharpens the image automatically Press the Auto Focus button on base

💡 Best Practices

  • Place your document or object directly under the camera head on a flat surface

  • Adjust the arm position so the camera points straight down

  • Use the auto-focus button anytime the image looks blurry

  • For Zoom classes, share the camera by selecting it as your video source
