Using VPN and Remote Desktop

Catholic University provides the "Remote-Access" virtual private network (VPN) for general remote access to the campus network. The VPN extends the campus network to the off-site computer in its remote location. The VPN helps to protect the University's systems and services while allowing faculty, staff and students to access them easily from outside campus.

Please view web page Working off-campus using VPN and Remote Desktop that describes how an employee can install the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client VPN software and use Microsoft Remote Desktop to remotely control their assigned campus computer that is running Microsoft Windows.
