Cardinal Mail does allow you to forward messages. However, please see the following sections for important information before taking this action.
Students
Official messages from the university are sent to your Cardinal Mail address. If you do choose to forward your Cardinal Mail to another address, please make sure the remote address is working, and you are able to monitor it regularly so that you do not miss important University messages.

Employees
Records of electronic communications pertaining to the business of the University are University records. The Employee Electronic Communications and Resources Policy together with its associated guidelines states that employees should not use outside services to access their University email. So employees should not forward their Cardinal Mail to a service not provisioned and managed by the University.
