Call Status

To adjust the Zoom Phone status on a Yealink phone, you can toggle Do Not Disturb (DND) direct;ly on the device, or change your presence status via your Zoom app/web portal.  On T4/T5 models, press the DND button on the screen to block incoming calls. For broader status changes (e.g., Available, Away), update them via the Zoom app, which syncs to the phone.

Setting Status on Yealink Desk Phone

  • Do Not Disturb (DND):
    • T4 Series (Touchscreen): Tap DND on the home screen. A red circle icon will appear.
    • T4 Series (Non-Touch): Press the DND button on the home screen.
    • T5 Series (Touchscreen): Swipe down from the top of the screen and tap DND.
  • Note: Activating DND on the phone only applies to that specific desk phone, not your Zoom desktop/mobile app.

Changing Presence Status via Zoom App (Best for Synchronized Status) 

  1. Open the Zoom app on your computer or mobile device.
  2. Click/tap your profile picture in the top-left corner.
  3. Select your desired status: AvailableAwayBusy, or Do Not Disturb.
  4. Important: Enabling DND from the Zoom app/desktop client overrides the Yealink desk phone settings and enables it across all devices.

Additional Settings

  • Sign Out/Reset: You can click your avatar on the Yealink screen to log out or access the main menu.
  • Reset Status: If your phone is stuck in a "Meeting" or "Busy" state, you can tap Reset on the Zoom app to restore it to the system-driven status.
