MiCollab desktop app prompts for a Client Update

Summary

How to proceed with a Client Update to MiCollab on a campus Windows computer.

Body

On campus computers running Microsoft Windows, when you start the MiCollab presence/soft phone desktop application, you may see a messages similar to the following.

Click Yes to start the update. The new software version is downloaded, and installation begins.

When you see this User Access Control prompt, please click Yes. The installation continues.

Leave "Launch Micollab Now" checked, and click Finish to complete the installation.

MiCollab starts, and may display a message about what has changed.

Older MiCollab Software

If the computer is still running MiCollab version 7, please submit a request at techsupport.catholic.edu to have it upgraded to the latest version.
